Please enjoy this complimentary recording on how to successfully acknowledge your hostess and a simple party introduction EVEN if you don’t do a demo!
So where are we? You and your hostess have spoiled your guests with an incredible theme, rich environment, burning scented candles, uplifting music, and a lot of connection. Now you’re ready to transition from the 20 minute guest connection to a demo, or if you don’t do a demo, you’re going to set the scene for your guests to check out your products and connect with them one by one.The greatest way to transition from ‘party time/food and beverages’ to a demo or checking out the products is your ‘On-Time Drawing.’ In fact, if you didn’t get my FREE copy of my ‘On-Time Drawing’ coupons, you can DOWNLOAD it here.
Imagine this: All your guests are hanging out and partying and you whisper to your hostess, “I’m ready for our on time drawing. Will you invite your guests into the family room?” Your hostess invites her guests into the family room, filling up their coffee cup, wine glass or refilling their margaritas. Everyone is happy and excited because they experience their ‘girlfriend time.’ You announce the winner of the on time drawing and then acknowledge your hostess.
Do you know how to WOW your hostess with an incredible acknowledgement and plant seeds that engage your guests to want what she is experiencing?
For over five years, I was fortunate to have the #1 ‘personal sales’ rep on my team. Donna kicked out the sales, and when I witnessed her demo at convention in front of thousands of reps, I knew why. It didn’t feel like a demo. She was incredible at connecting with guests, and I had never heard anyone acknowledge a hostess better than she. When I share her concepts to my clients and my seminar attendees, the audience is blown away. During the recording I’ll give you an example of how to spoil your hostess.
Does your introduction make you sound like a telemarketer or are your guests on the edge of their seats?
Most of you reading my tip of the week do demos, but some of you don’t. The problem with not doing a demo is that you don’t have the opportunity to share your stories and plant seeds in the beginning that engage your guests to want more. The problem with doing a demo is that most representatives sound like telemarketers; they spend more time talking about themselves than sharing the experience they have in store for their guests. I believe the party introduction is more difficult than a booking or recruiting commercial, meaning sharing the benefits of hosting a “Friends Night Out Party” or learning more about your company’s opportunity during your demo.
Is your introduction interesting, engaging and fun? Your objective is to tell your story and plant seeds that guests can identify with. It’s no more than a few minutes long and creates a lot of curiosity about your product, hosting, and seeking information about your business opportunity.
I’ve had several group coaching calls with clients who have each shared their introduction and I must say, they didn’t get it! When they learned to look at it through the lens of their guests and took on my practice on how to create an extraordinary introduction, their authenticity and passion exuded from them.
Okay, listen to the Tip of the Week recording and lock in the learning. I have much to share with you over the next few months about how to explode your personal business.
Creating an extraordinary life is a choice. What’s yours?
Joy and Success,
